“TROST” Online study on Grief Support after Pregnancy Loss and Termination

In coordination with the Landesstelle Früher Kindstod in Baden-Württemberg (State Office for Early Child Death), our group has started a new anonymous online study “TROST” on grief support after pregnancy loss and termination.

The aim of this study is to assess the situation of support services following pregnancy loss and termination in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Furthermore, we intend to identify potential long-term consequences of pregnancy loss and termination on mental health and to model the relationship with experienced support services. We would like to collect the experience from those are affected, their families and professionals, regardless of how long ago their experience occurred.

The study received professional and ethical review from the locally responsible Ethics Committee at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tübingen.
