After studying psychology in Düsseldorf and Erlangen, I started my PhD in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Oslo. I have a passion for both clinical psychology and neuroscience and am interested in linking both to better understand psychopathology risk. My PhD project focused on the association between emotion-related functional connectivity and youth and parent mental health. During my education, I have spent time at the University of Graz, University of Lund and Yale University. Next to research, I am currently working in a clinic and am training to become a licensed psychotherapist.
