I obtained my PhD in Psychology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Since November 2025, I have been a postdoctoral researcher in the Kaufmann Lab at the University Hospital of Tübingen.
My research focuses on the relationship between the brain health and somatic diseases, particularly in the context of aging. During my doctoral studies, I demonstrated that chronic pain accelerates brain aging and increases the risk of cognitive impairment, suggesting that musculoskeletal degeneration may contribute to brain senescence. In my postdoctoral work, I aim to integrate genetic, clinical text, and neuroimaging data to develop advanced brain age models that more specifically capture the links between somatic diseases and brain health.
