I first joined the Kaufmann lab in December 2021 as a doctoral student and recently obtained my PhD in the framework of the International Research Training Program 2804 (IRTG2804) - Women’s mental health across the reproductive years.
During my PhD, I applied machine learning models to study sex differences in the brain. I am particularly interested in how female specific processes influence the brain and their relation to women’s mental health. In January 2026, I started a postdoc position in the HealthyMom project, where I will leverage multivariate models to investigate the impact of pregnancy and pregnancy loss on brain structure and function in relation to mental health.
